Important message from Twin Club Mc: “Unfortunately, due to the prevailing social situation with the Corona virus, there is no possibility of organizing a regular Custom Bike Show in June 2020. Instead, Twin Club Mc will host an unusual Custom Bike Show – a virtual exhibition.”
“Saturday, June 6 should be the Custom Bike Show, in the Societetsparken in Norrtälje with lots of cool motorcycles and thousands of visitors. But this year, the exhibition and the National Party will not be in compliance with the restrictions of the Public Health Authority. However, the organizer Twin Club mc still wants to be able to offer all motorcycle enthusiasts an exhibition, and will therefore invite to a virtual exhibition.
The Custom Bike Show is an event that normally takes place on the first Saturday in June. The Mc season starts for many interested parties with a visit to Societetsparken in central Norrtälje. 4000-5000 motorcycles usually come and fill all nearby streets, which for the day are converted into parking spaces. The park has 10,000 visitors – motorcyclists and motorcycles of all ages.
This year’s exhibition will be a completely virtual event, but arranged so that anyone who wants to follow it all digitally will have an experience that can be recognized by many from a regular Custom Bike Show. To achieve this vision, the club has developed a website with several unusual solutions.
Twin Club Mc has worked with Anders Eriksson at Roslagens Webbyrå to create a digital meeting place for both exhibitors and interested visitors. Digital exhibitions are not uncommon – but doing an exhibition with several different classes and combining this with creating an exciting digital day is new, says Ulf Karlsson, member of Twin Club Mc, who participated in the development work.
For those who are interested and want to participate in the exhibition, one or more pictures should be submitted on their mc. The pictures are placed in different forums corresponding to the different classes in a regular exhibition. This year’s exhibition includes the classes HD-Chopper, Chopper, Custom, Racer, Classic and Modified Standard.
Unfortunately, there will be no selection for the World Cup, but new for this year is that everyone who attends the virtual event can vote in all classes.
In addition to motorcycle exhibitions, there will be various digital activities to take part in during the day – a music program, with possible live broadcasts and various elements and events that during a regular day in the Societetsparken!
The Custom Bike Show is organized by Twin Club Mc, which is one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in Sweden. However, the way to organize the exhibition this year is completely new!”

Twin Club Mc’s Custom Bike Show ställer om!
På grund av den rådande samhällssituationen med Coronaviruset finns tyvärr inte möjligheten att arrangera ett vanligt Custom Bike Show i juni 2020. Istället kommer Twin Club Mc att arrangera ett ovanligt Custom Bike Show – en virtuell utställning.
Lördag den 6 juni borde det vara Custom Bike Show, i Societetsparken i Norrtälje med massor av häftiga motorcyklar och tusentals besökare. Men i år kommer utställningen och folkfesten att utebli efter restriktionerna från Folkhälsomyndigheten. Arrangören Twin Club mc vill dock ändå kunna erbjuda alla motorcykel-entusiaster en utställning, och kommer därför bjuda in till en virtuell utställning.
Custom Bike Show är ett evenemang som normalt sker den första lördagen i juni . Mc säsongen startar för många intresserade med ett besök i Societetsparken i centrala Norrtälje. 4000–5000 motorcyklar brukar komma och fyller alla närliggande gator, som för dagen är omgjorda till parkeringsplatser. I parken finns 10 000 besökare – motorcyklister och mc-intresserade i alla åldrar.
Årets utställning blir en helt virtuell händelse, men arrangerad så att den som vill följa det hela digitalt får en upplevelse som i mångt och mycket kan kännas igen från ett vanligt Custom Bike Show. För att nå fram till den visionen har klubben arbetat fram en webbplats med flera ovanliga lösningar.
Twin Club Mc har tillsammans med Anders Eriksson på Roslagens Webbyrå arbetat med att skapa en digital mötesplats både för utställare och intresserade besökare. Digitala utställningar är inte ovanligt – men att göra en utställning med flera olika klasser och kombinerad detta med att skapa en spännande digital dag är nytt, säger Ulf Karlsson, medlem i Twin Club Mc, som deltagit utvecklingsarbetet.
För den som är intresserad och vill delta i utställningen så ska man skicka in en eller flera bilder på sin mc. Bilderna placeras i olika forum som motsvarar de olika klasserna i en vanlig utställning. Årets utställning av innehåller klasserna HD-Chopper, Chopper, Custom, Racer, Klassiker och Modifierad Standard.
Tyvärr blir det ingen uttagning till VM, men nytt för i år är att alla som besöker det virtuella evenemanget kan rösta i alla klasser.
Förutom motorcykelutställning kommer det att finnas olika digitala aktiviteter att ta del av under dagen – ett musikprogram, med eventuell livesändning samt olika inslag och händelser som under en vanlig dag i Societetsparken!
Custom Bike Show arrangeras av Twin Club Mc som är en av de äldsta mc klubbarna i Sverige. Sättet att arrangera utställningen på i år är däremot alldeles nytt!
