The first round of Scandinavian flat track cup 2024 was for the first time held in Finland and Hyvinkää. Organizer behind this success was Burt Racing with Jukka Pekka Purtilo in charge backed by KirFix Oy and they all made a great first start. More than 30 riders attended most Fins but a bunch of Norweigans as well as Swedes made the trip over the Baltic sea and back.
Now we are starting to get our “shit” togheter for the second round held in Vetlanda Sweden. Vetlanda offers a magnificant arena with a dream world for riders as well as spectators. Vetlanda is the Swedish club with most speedway medals ever and that for sure sets the level.
Organizer behind the Vetlanda round is The Evil Monkey and The Kick Ass Crew who is hosting not less than two races during the same weekend. On friday July 5 they offer Trotteln i Taket a “ride what you brung-race” on the small track, serious as hell and so much fun watching all kinds of vintage bikes and speedoholics battling in the dust. Friday is also the day for THE afterparty with dinner, live music and of course the award ceremony for the combatants earlier the same day.
Saturday July 6 is another game The Monkey Race Day is by far the biggest flat track race in Sweden and also the only organizer hosting the Scandinavian Flat Track Cup all years the cup existed. That combo of race and party seems to attract both audience as well as racers and since its a five years anniversary of Trotteln i Taket, organizer will do their best to make a great super mega flat track weekend.

To visit as spectator you just have to show up at the entrance Friday July 5 when gates open in the early morning. Ticket fee is 150 SEK / Day including a free copy of The Evil Monkey Magazine. Weekend tickets 250 SEK are also available.
