What are the bike specs?
In short what a Flat Track bike needs to have: 19” wheels with proper flat track tires, no front brake, a cut off switch (which stalls the bike if you fall) and a shark fin at the back of your chain (this protects from getting between the sprocket and chain) If you have casted wheels you will need to cover them (with plastic) For more info on rules and regulations go to Regulations page.
For yourself you will need an ECE Helmet, protection boots and ECE back protector.
What is the cost as a rider?
Practise on Saturday €20,00
To Race 1 class €50,00, €25,00 for each additional class.
License
You have to buy your License in advance.
International FIM licenese and SVEMO license only. Please vistit https://www.svemo.se/Service/forforare/Licens/kopdinlicens for more info. You need a flat track license for competition. A “prova-på-license” is not valid.
You can arrive from Friday afternoon and use the facilities till Sunday night.

WHEELS AND TYRES
1. For Rookie, Vintage and Hooligan class all types of tyres are permitted except for knobblies.
2. For Pro 19” wheels and flat track tyres only.
CLASSES
ROOKIE CLASS: where you can learn and improve your moves on your flat track bike, cut of and a shark fin installed. Rookie class doesn’t have an imposition on cubic inches. If you ride very well in Rookie you can be asked to join another suitable Class.
PRO CLASS: usually ridden on 450cc MX bike which of course have been heavily tuned and tweaked.
VINTAGE MODERN CLASSICS: Year of manufacture up to 1985. Ideally flat track tires (18 “or 19” allowed, not mandatory, no knobblies allowed). Emergency stop / kill switches are not mandatory in this class.
VINTAGE CLASS: Old Triumph’s, BSA’s, Astro Bultaco’s, Harley XR, WR, WLA’s etc. mostly pre 1970. If your engine is OHC, which means overhead camshaft type, that is a no go in Vintage class. If you are not sure send us a mail including a photo. You don’t need the proper flat track tyres or 19″ wheels.
HOOLIGAN CLASS: for twins above 750cc with stock main frame (sub-frame may be modified) and little mods as a cut of, unplug front brake, ideally on flat track tyres (but not essential) no knobblies.
Note: Depending on how many registered there are in each class, some classes can be run together or divided into several starting groups.
NOTE: we have a limited amount of pit spaces, so you might need to bring a gazebo/tent and everyone need to bring a pit mat to place under your bike, the size of your whole bike (not just the engine).

Event Regulations
1. Rider may compete from 16 years old.
2. Riders will need a SVEMO/FIM day license or have a SVEMO/FIM year license.
3. The parent/guardian must accompany a youth competitor under the age of 18 to the event and stay for the entire duration of the time that the rider is present.
4. All riders should be able to sit astride their machines and, with one foot firmly on the ground, must be able to control the gear lever or the foot brake with the other foot.
5. All riders should have an ID card with them.
BRAKES
1. Motorcycles must be fitted with an effective rear wheel brake. Exceptions are made for Vintage bikes not fitted with rear brake as an original part.
2. Front wheel brakes are prohibited. It is sufficient to unhook and remove the cable of the front brake.
WHEELS AND TYRES
1. For Rookie / Vintage / Hooligan classes all types of wheels, sizes and tyres are permitted, except for knobblies.
2. For Pro classes 19” wheels and Flat track tyres are required
3. Casted wheels need to be covered with plastic
4. Maximum depth of profile is 8 mm, maximum width between the profile is 9.5 mm
CLUTCH AND BRAKE LEVERS
1. Clutch and brake levers must be, in principal, ball ended, the diameter of the ball to be at least 12.5mm.
2. This ball can also be flattened but in any case the edges must be rounded.
3. These ball ends must be permanently fixed to form an integral part of the lever.
FRONT FORKS
Front forks must not project more than 7cm above the upper mounting points.
FOOTRESTS AND HANDLEBARS
1. Footrest should be mounted in their original positions on the frame or no lower than the bottom of the frame or engine and must be fitted with a spring.
2. The ends of the footrests must be rounded with a radius of not less than 12.5mm. The ends of the handlebars on all motorcycles shall be rounded or otherwise protected.
THROTTLE
All machines must be fitted with self-closing throttles.
EXHAUST PIPES
The end of the exhaust pipe or pipes must not project beyond the outer circumference of the rear tyres or the frame.
RUNNING OF ENGINES
1. The running of engines is prohibited except during official practice, actual racing, sound testing and for a period not exceeding five minutes prior to the start of each race.
2. A breach of this regulation may involve disqualification from the event of the rider concerned.
IGNITION CUT-OUT
All machines will be fitted with an engine cut out button that must be operated by a non elastic string or cord. The cord should be a maximum of 500mm. Any part of the cut-out that remains live when disconnected must be shrouded in order to prevent accidental contact with any part of the motorcycle
CHAIN GUARDS
1. On all machines the manufacturer’s original primary drive guards or parts of similar design must remain in place.
2. A sharks fin style protector must be fitted to guard the rear sprocket.
NUMBER PLATES
1. Front number plates should be a minimum of 20cm x 20cm.
2. Side number plates must be fitted of such size that the number can be read from a distance of 20m
3. No metallic or reflective colours may be used in any circumstances.
4. Plates must be white and display black numbers.
TECHNICAL CONTROL
1. All machines, riders and helmets must be presented at the technical control prior to racing
2. When in the opinion of the Officials the machine or helmet is not safe to ride the rider will not be allowed on the track for the riders own safety as well as the safety of its fellow riders.
OIL ABSORPTION MAT
Measures must be taken to prevent leaks of fuel, oil, cleaning, degreasing, cooling and brake fluids, etc into the ground or vapour into the air
Therefore an oil absorption mat must be placed under every bike in the pits. It has to cover the complete wheelbase of the bike (not just the engine). This to prevent any fluids leaking on and into the soil.
The oil absorption mat must be composed of an absorbent upper part end an impermeable lower part. Metal or plastic drippans, rugs, etc are not allowed.
CLOTHING
1. All competitors must wear a crash helmet. Competitors are advised not to wear hand, face or body jewelry/piercings which could prove hazardous in the event of an accident.
2. The mouth should be kept clear of anything likely to cause blockage of the airway in the event of an incident, e.g. chewing gum. This includes removing false dentures.
3. It is not advised that bulky hard objects such as tools etc. are carried in pockets or on the person.
4. Goggles or visor of a non-splinterable type must be worn at the commencement of each race. Spectacles, if worn, must be non-splinterable.
5. It is advised that all riders should wear a body belt/kidney protector and wear protective armour giving protection to at least the chest and shoulders.
6. All riders are advised to wear identification discs around the neck or wrist during racing and practicing. The disc should bear the wearers full name and date of birth.
7. It is the responsibility of the riders parent/guardian to ensure that all protective clothing is correctly fitting for youth competitors.
8. In all races and official practice complete protective clothing produced for motocross racing, knee length boots and gloves shall be worn by each rider. It is advised that motocross jerseys should provide protection against abrasion to the body and arms and that motocross jeans are padded at the hips and knees.
RIDING IN THE PITS
Riding of machines in the pits is strictly prohibited. Machines should be pushed with the engine dead. Riding of machines at a slow pace can be permitted if designated lanes protected from the public are used. Machines must be pushed upon exiting from any point on these lanes. Under no circumstances may the machine be ridden by anybody other than the competitor.
TRACK ACCESS
Strictly no personnel, other than signed on Officials, are permitted on the track while machinery is operating.
START POSITIONS
Start positions will be established according to the provisions of the Event Regulations.
FALSE STARTS
1. All false starts shall be indicated by the waving of a red flag, red lights next to the track and a sound alarm will be activated. All riders will have to go back to the starting area at slow speed and await announcements regarding the restart.
2. Any rider deemed to have caused a false start either by the Clerk of the Course or the Start Line Judge may be penalised.
STOPPING A RACE
1. If a race is stopped prior to 2 laps, the race shall be re-run if conditions and time permits.
2. After this distance the race will be restarted and competed over the remaining distance.
Riders will restart in a staggered line starting from the inside of the circuit, in the order in
which the riders last crossed the finish line prior to the stoppage.
3. If less than 2 laps are remaining then the race result will be declared on the last complete
lap.
4. Any rider being the cause of a stoppage may be disqualified from any results and may not compete in any re-run or may start 25m behind the line up, unless their actions were in the interest of safety.
5. Only riders competing at the time of the showing of the red flag will be permitted to restart.
FINISH OF RACE
1. The chequered flag will be displayed as the winner crosses the finish control line and will be kept flying until the last riders finish the lap.
2. No rider will be allowed to start a fresh lap after the chequered flag has been displayed.
3. Riders crossing the finish control line will be flagged off, their position being determined by the number of laps each has completed, those riders who complete a similar number of laps having their positions determined by the order in which they finish.
CHANGE OF MACHINE
A change of machine may be permitted provided that prior notification is made to the Official before the race in which the change is to take place. The same machine must be used throughout any one race.
OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE
1. If during a race a rider receives outside assistance other than that provided by the Organisers for the removal of himself or his machine from the course in the interests of safety, that rider may be disqualified or penalised.
2. Riders receiving signals from persons associated with them in prohibited areas may be disqualified or penalised.
FOUL, UNFAIR OR DANGEROUS RIDING
An Official may disqualify any rider who, in his opinion, is guilty of unfair, foul or dangerous riding or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
COURSE CONDUCT
1. If both of a riders wheels cross the inner edge of the circuit during racing they will be disqualified from the race result, unless in the Official opinion it was to avoid another rider.
2. If a rider leaves the confines of the course, unless for reasons of safety, they may be disqualified or penalised by the Official.
CONDUCT
Riders, parents or associates failing to obey instructions given by officials of the event or deemed to have unjustifiably or maliciously jeopardised the efficient running of the event by not adhering to the Event Regulations may be disqualified from the event.
PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
It is a parent’s or guardian’s responsibility to ensure that children stay within the confines of the event site and obey all instructions issued by the organiser.
DECLARATION
It is a condition of acceptance of entry that the promoters shall not be responsible for any damage to a motorcycle or its accessories whether by fire, accident or other causes, nor for the theft of a motorcycle or its accessories before, during and after the event.
COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS
Every rider, by signing in and entering or being entered, thereby acknowledges that s/he is bound by these Regulations and Final Instructions issued, to all of which s/he undertakes to submit and, moreover, renounces any right to have recourse to any arbitration or tribunal not provided for.
