In 2023, the cup will be decided over four races starting in Örebro 18 June, Monkey Race Days in Vetlanda July 7-8 and Stram Vajer in Vinsvoll August 18-19.

To participate in the cup, you register for each race and the cup. Each race organizer will receive registrations and we will share this as soon as we have dates for all races and when registration opens for each sub-competition.

The classes included in the Viking Flat Track Cup are Junior, Rookie, Vintage True Gold -1959, Vintage Real Deal – 1979 and Vintage Modern Classic – 1985, Hooligan, Thunderbike and Pro 450. Best girl in each class will be awarded! NOTE in the 450 class, the following rear tires are mandatory Mitas FT18 (a green line), Mitas FT18, Mitas H18, Shinko SR267/268 (hard/medium/soft) apply. Questions about this are referred to Åke Jansson and Mikael Sjövall.

In 2023 we will select winners in each class, i.e. the three best riders in terms of points in each class in the cup will be awarded.
The awards for the three best riders consist partly of the entry fees and partly of sponsors as well as, not least, glory, fame and the title Viking of the Year – Scandinavia’s sharpest flat track rider.

To participate in the cup, you pay SEK/NOK 70 extra per race and class you sign on to.

Points in the cup are counted according to placement in the final of each race as follows:
1st place 15p
2nd place 12p
3rd place 10p
4th place 9p
5th place 8p
6th place 7p
7th place 6p
8th place 5p
9th place 4p
10th place 3p
11th place 2p

For other race rules, each races rules and additional rules apply. Common to the races is that they follow NMF’s rulebook in Norway and Svemo’s rulebook as well as SR Flat track in Sweden. All the races require at least a national race license, that is, you can use your Norwegian license in Sweden and your Swedish license in Norway That also applys on danish riders. National flat track license from any EU-country is valid in Sweden according to a special agreement. In Norway is International FIM-license for flat track required. An exception to Svemo’s regulations is that speedway tires are not allowed in the vintage classes and in 450 only Mitas FT18 (one green line), Mitas FT18, Mitas H18, Shinko SR267/268 (hard/medium/soft) are allowed.
