Yesterday we found out that another madness had appeared in the “day care” of politicans in EU. Some “brilliant” minds had come up with this unbelievable idea of limiting the top speed on motorcycles. We strongly belive that thoose who wanted this has no clue of how traffic works and that the extra speed actually save your life out there. But today I can only feel gratitud towards organisations like SMC – Sveriges Motorcyklister togheter with FIM and FEMA who saved our ass yet another time.
Yesterday they went public announcing that it was Victory for freedom, justice and the joy of riding a motorcycles.
The proposition made was about to limit bikes in the A1 class to 90 km/h, A2 to 100 km/h and the rest to 110 km/h on all roads in the European Union. I mean WHO came up with this?
One might think that politicians has too much time, but the fact is that there are so much chaos in the world, at least I wish they could spend their time, paid by us, focusing on making things better like stopp wars, work on a safe and affordable electricity, food locally produced and so on. Instead they spend time on things no one I know wants, setting up systems to be able to control everything you do and only making decisions based on statistics often proved wrong.
I do thank all people involved fighting this madness, but really if EU did work as its supposed to do, this issues wouldnt even be.
